I would like to apply for several different positions. Do I need to fill out an application for each job?
No. Once you create your applicant account, you may apply for as many jobs as you would like.
I have a resume, do I still need to fill out an application?
Yes. An application is required, but you may also attach your resume within the application.
How will I know if my resume or application has been received?
You will get a confirmation email once your application has been submitted. Please note that due to the high volume of applicants, there is no guarantee you will be contacted for an interview. If you don't hear anything from us within a week, please contact us to follow up. You may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (831) 460-3377 ext. 6.
How old do I have to be to work at the Boardwalk?
You must be 16 by June 15, 2017. Although we do open a few jobs for 15 year olds. Please call if you wish to know whether we have current openings for 15 year olds.

We are located across the street from the Looff Carousel at 605 Beach Street • Santa Cruz.
What are the employment office hours?
Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, year-round*.
* Exception: Fridays we are closed from 8:30am - 10:30am
We are also open on Saturdays 9am to 4pm from January through October.
Where do I park?
Park in the Boardwalk's Main Parking Lot, across the street from Neptune's Kingdom. Please bring us your parking ticket and we will validate it for free parking.

When do you start hiring for summer jobs at the Boardwalk?
Typically, hiring begins in early January and will continue throughout the summer. The Boardwalk is open on weekends year-round (closed December 1-23) and open daily starting around Spring Break through Labor Day. Please see our Calendar for more information about the Boardwalk's operating schedule.
The best time to apply is between January and May when we do most of our hiring and training in preparation for a busy spring break and summer.

What are the personal appearance or grooming standards?
As a representative of our company, we require employees to maintain a professional, neat, clean and well groomed appearance.
All employees must choose hairstyles and colors that are conservative and not extreme or distracting in color or style. Hair color must be a "natural" hair color or may be dyed a naturally occurring hair color.
Men's hair should be neatly trimmed on the sides and in back, and may extend downward on the back of the head to the middle of the collar. Hair may not be pulled back into a ponytail, bun or hidden under a cap. Sideburns should be straight, neatly trimmed, and may extend to the end of the earlobe. Neatly groomed mustaches are permitted and may extend one inch below the corners of the mouth. Beards, mustaches and goatees are allowed, however they must be neatly trimmed and not longer than one inch. Other than established beards, mustaches and goatees, you are expected to be clean shaven every work day. An established beard must not have any empty spaces between the sideburns, mustache or goatee. Note: Employees required to wear respirators must meet fit-test requirements that may require a clean-shaven face. Food service employees may be required to cover their facial hair to comply with Department of Health regulations.
Please select tasteful and appropriate jewelry to wear at work. Remember that jewelry should be both safe and appropriate for your work environment; no extremes are allowed. Food Service employees must comply with Department of Health regulations. Consult your Supervisor or Manager if in doubt.
Women: May wear up to three earrings per ear. Earrings may not exceed two inches in length or diameter.
Men: May wear one earring per ear. Studs can be no larger than 1/4 inch in diameter; hoops no bigger than 1/2 inch in diameter.
Men and women: May wear one small nose stud no bigger than 2mm. No other visible pierced jewelry or body adornment is allowed, You may wear plugs (no gauges are allowed) that are a plain solid color, and do not exceed 1/4 inch in diameter.
Tattoos are not permitted if visible when wearing a company-issued uniform or when wearing business or professional dress. You may not cover tattoos on your hands or head with bandages or makeup.
