POUNDERS
San Jose, CA
Performed at 3:00pm
A rock/pop-punk power trio based out of San Jose, CA, formed in 2007. Their style blends infectious melodies, catchy hooks, driving bass lines and snappy rhythms. POUNDERS has a unique range of tastes that influence their music, including rock, punk, metal, dance, and hip-hop. The band brings an amazing energy to their live performance. In Summer 2012, their unforgettable stage presence and local achievements won them "Best Rock Band" in the inaugural Silicon Valley Sound eXperience Awards.

BREACH THE SUMMIT
Irvine, CA
Performed at 4:00pm
This Indie-Pop band was founded in late 2009. The band began by playing charity shows and a local Irvine Battle of the Bands, winning the competition two years in a row. They were selected to participate in the OC Music Awards Showcase Series and nominated for two OC Music Awards - Best New Artist, and Best Live Band. Their influences include Young the Giant, Walk the Moon, Two Door Cinema Club, Manchester Orchestra, The Fray, Hey Rosetta!, and The Wombats.

ALMOST CHAOS
Santa Cruz, CA
Performed at 1:00pm
This local rock/reggae band formed in 2008 (when the members were just 11 and 12 years old) thanks to a community program called "Be in Your Own Band". They were voted one of the Top Ten Teen Bands in the entire U.S. in 2010 and 2012 during "School Jam USA", a national competition. They have been recognized by the Mayor of Santa Cruz and Congressman Sam Farr for their contribution to their community, having raised over $40,000 for local schools and community charities.

PLOUGHMAN
Santa Cruz, CA
Performed at 2:00pm
California's Psychedelic Soul group formed in 2010. The group cites influences that run the gamut from soul singer Van Morrison, to classic rock bands like Cream, and The Grateful Dead with some Prog, Jazz and Ska mixed in for a sharp edge, live organic feeling and a relentless groove.

ARDEN PARK ROOTS
Sacramento, CA
Performed at 5:00pm
Arden Park Roots is quickly becoming a common name in the California rock/reggae scene. They have 6 major awards under their belt including the Sacramento Area Local Music Awards (SAMMIES) for "Best Reggae/Rock/Funk band" two years in a row. They were also just inducted into the Sacramento Hall Of Fame.
