Attention music fans!

It's time to reveal the lineup for the 2008 Free Friday Night Bands on the Beach series!

As promised, Big Kahuna's are the first to hear the news… drum roll please!

Bands appearing at the Boardwalk for the first time ever include Santana's co-founder and original lead singer Gregg Rolie who also co-founded Journey. Gregg Rolie's music has been described as "Original Santana the way you remember it." Other bands appearing for the first time include the Gin Blossoms, Blue Oyster Cult ("More Cowbell!"), and the Romantics.

The Tubes will be back, as well as John Waite, Eddie Money, Herman's Hermits, Papa Doo Run Run, Sha Na Na, and Rare Earth. Shows start Friday, June 20, with concerts every Friday night at 6:30 and 8:30 through August 29. Check out the complete schedule.

Meanwhile, Coaster's Lounge at the Boardwalk Bowl has an interesting lineup of local bands every Friday night. They also have karaoke 5 nights a week. And of course, there's always bowling!

APRIL SCHEDULE

Boardwalk rides are open for full operation on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 8pm throughout April.

Starting April 14, rides are also open Mondays through Fridays for Limited Operations *.

* On Limited Operation Days, some rides and areas of the park are closed. Visitors should expect 5 major rides and 2 "Kiddie" rides to be open, weather permitting. Parking is half-price ($5) and "All Day Wristbands" are discounted to $16.95 on Limited Operation Days. Please call 831-423-5590 the day of your visit to confirm open rides.

Neptune's Kingdom and the Casino Arcade are open every day!

For family bowling, the Boardwalk Bowl is open daily.
