| July 2009 Hello Big Kahuna Club! With beautiful weather and smiling faces everywhere, working at the Boardwalk doesn't feel like a job, it's more like a working vacation! If you can make it to Santa Cruz on a weekday, it's a great time to visit. Cirque Magnifique is here! Their first show is Sunday, July 12 at Noon.  The Food Network features a visit to the Boardwalk on "Sunny's Summer Eats" airing Saturday, July 11 at 9pm. Filmed last summer, the crew tried everything from deep fried twinkies to chocolate covered bacon, and interviewed guests along the way. More Info Looking for a little luxury? The Sea & Sand Inn sits above Cowell's beach on West Cliff Drive, overlooking the wharf and Santa Cruz Main Beach. The Inn just remodeled, adding large new rooms and fresh landscaping. Every room at the Sea & Sand comes with an ocean view. It's a beautiful place to settle in and observe the action on the beach. |

Wharf to Wharf Race July 26, 2009 This early morning race brings out 15,000 runners as they take the scenic route from Santa Cruz to Capitola.
